Or maybe… vacation?

The Guru is correct. Location is the key. Nearest traffic light is twenty miles away. Nearest Walmart is sixty miles. Okay, I still have over two feet of snow in the yard, the lakes still frozen over, and it’s twenty degrees fahrenheit, …..but I live a very peaceful life.

Gurus crave solitude.

Yes..location and ,in this case, the ability to stomp on the fingers of the person disturbing your peace! ;o)

It sure isn’t living up here. The commute’s a b***h.

As a docent at our local art museum (OMA), I worked with schoolkids every week for 35 years. They instinctively LOVED landscapes-traditional, modern, mountainsides, lakesides, ponds, fields, forests, American, European, Asian—didn’t matter where. One thing every single group mentioned when we’d discuss why they loved a certain landscape was that there were no people in it. Everybody needs a break from everybody every once in a while.

This used to be a smarmy innocuous cartoon but keeps getting better over the years!

There goes the neighborhood, time to move again.

NoDak and Minnesota were judged the less stressful states to live in a recent study. But then again, it’s Minnesota and NoDak.

Location, location, location…Fiji Islands.
