1959….. I was 8, and went to church “religiously”. At that age, it’s just a social club…. with horrid threats of hell fire.

Youse guys should join my congregation. Judging from the comments, youse already have.

There was a time I would have loudly rebuked this comic…without any counter-argument…I just would have been offended. Now I recognize there is some validity to the point being made.

Let’s see, which would I rather pay ? The 10% tithes to an organized religion or the 2% vigorish to the organization ?

I’m betting, the odds of winning are better with the book makers than the bible beaters !
