Sigh I miss the Calvin and Hobbes strip.

This April fools day strip is great and all, but I’ll just point out the big picture of Opus hospital job has been skipped.

I do so love when Bill and Berkeley do a collaboration.

I read this first on BB’s Facebook page and wasn’t able to see that Opus does indeed find it pee-in-the-pants scary :D

Where is Hobbes? Eric Trump made a rug out of him….

Nothing frightens us anymore. Too much apathy.

Calvin doesn’t pee in his pants, he pees on car logos.

Took me minute to understand because I have Bloom County and Calvin & Hobbes next to each other on my GoComics page!

Gotta go with Calvin on this one. Just ’tain’t scary. Of course, Opus’s spasmodic loss of urinary control shows that he thought otherwise….

Sorry, I don’t mistake my ongoing paralyzing fear for apathy. This is a great cartoon, however. To see Bill in action again as with Pastis and Breathed is just a joy to my soul. Please keep at it, Bill! We love you.

Now if we can get Gary Larson to come out of retirement for this kind of stuff.

So is this REALLY the reclusive Watterson? I am doubtful. Although convincing, Calvin just doesn’t look right.

Here’s the thing: Aside from the first couple of dinosaurs to ever appear in Calvin and Hobbes (http://www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/1986/10/12 and http://www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/1987/02/06), every other mesozoic creature was drawn with scientific accuracy. I recognized many of them from THE ILLUSTRATED ENCYCLOPEDIA OF DINOSAURS and THE ILLUSTRATED ENCYCLOPEDIA OF PTEROSAURS.

Fun! Calvin and Bloom are both great. Impressive art, too.

Both of my favorite artists together! Really loved it!
