Time for Heather Burns to show up and teach Pelwecki how to hit, followed by an NFL star who is thinking of a career switch to baseball.

P1, Well, he certainly looks like he knows what he’s doing standing in the batting cage.

P2, This looks like it’s going to be as successful as his failed attempts at being the next great Milford QB and/or tight end.

Big Bob Stuff, Bobby Ottewill, had a wing man you Thorpsters may recall, Dinny Perez. Dinny was obsessed with dingers. Being slight in stature, he was cursed with warning track power. He now works in Ty Webb’s lumberyard. BB Stuff had the hots for that girl softball pitcher with the huge kid, Jaxon. Jaxon should be a Little League Legend by now.

Huh, it’s almost as if understanding the geometry isn’t enough.

P2 – #12 is embarrassed to be seen in this strip. Nice up nostril shot today, one of this strip’s classic shots.

I’m still trying to figure out how Pel’s upper and lower body go together in P-3. Maybe if he put his hips into his swing instead of just his upper body he could launch those pop ups into outer space.

In all reality , I am back. 29 days without reading Gil Thorp . The islands of the South Pacific were amazing . Glad to see baseball has finally started in Milford.

Where’s the tuba player to play him some motivational music like they did when he tried out for quarterback?
