I learned that trick while I was a delivery truck driver. I used to have strong pinky fingers from opening doors while still holding several boxes.

I always do that. Yes, with my bear hands.

I never make more trips than absolutely necessary, sometimes I have to make a 1/2 trip, to retrieve those dropped items.

Busy people die by walking, lazy ones by carrying.

I do it only to keep from forgetting to bring the other stuff later.
