How would you like it, Earl, if Opal used the aerosol adhesive on you and the chair (and newspaper) right this very minute?

Opal is now stuck with her hair style.

Talk about getting a perm – and free of charge too.

Some people do this on purpose. I use something called “stying glue” on my hair that actually looks just like Elmer’s glue.

Maybe Earl should try it to keep what hair he has!

Try looking at the can before you just spray something on yourself, Opal!

COULD’A used it instead of the deodorant…

Better read the Prep H tube before it goes on your toothbrush.

Does she also brush her teeth with Preparation H?

Object lesson. Always check the label before use. The can or bottle might not be what you think it is. Just because something is in a familiar place, doesn’t mean its the same one you used yesterday.Reading the label on the can after you use it is not the smartest thing to.(married 43 years so far,4 kids, 9 grandkids) This is all on Opal)

Even a victim has some measure of personal responsibility.

She’s wearing glasses. She would need to take them off to spray her hair to avoid getting hairspray on them. So, Opal probably didn’t have her glasses on when she reached for the can.

When I was in grade school (about sixty years ago) my mother would comb my hair every Sunday morning for church with some kind of gel. My hair would remain the way it was until Saturday night bath. (My background is what a lot of politicians say their’s is. Four-room house with eight people [parents and six kinds] and a path. Had to pump water and heat on stove for hot water, so baths were limited. Too much work.)
