Gee, I wonder why people don’t use Android phones which have expandable storage thanks to SD cards…
Oh, wait – they’re lazy lotus-eating dilletantes who want everything done for them and so take the easy way out and bite the Apple.
(Open-source zindabad – score one for the nerds. We face much less problems than this. Heck, my twenty-year-old kid brother makes his own smartwatch OSes.)
I have not yet done much “electronic” capturing of documents, even though I think it is a great idea to get rid of clutter. It just makes me nervous to a degree to do so. I worry that I will “do it wrong” or that I will “lose the electronic files” or my storage system will conk out or some such thing. But, it is a great idea.
It appears Aunt Fritzi has an iPhone 8 Plus…. it looks huge in her hands. Even though the larger display would be nice, I prefer smaller phones so they fit in my pocket easier. I am not sure if this is true or not, but I suspect more females may get the “plus” sized phones because they more often have a purse to be able to store it in and do not necessarily rely on a pocket.
If only it weren’t backwards. What’s the point of the “after” picture? She needs the “before” picture unless she plans to immediately mess things up again. Makes no sense.
Dudes, for the past two months: “There are too many tech jokes.” Dudes, today: “Actually, Fritzi should really use an Android because of the expandable SIM card capabilities, is that an iPhone 8, I’m telling you, Apple is for losers.”
“Nancy minus Nancy” today – – okay, fine. But Nancy by Jaimes will ALWAYS, always be compared to Ernie Bushmiller’s Nancy.
What grieves me, and the tech jokes have been a running gag for a long time now, and it’s not that they aren’t interesting. uh, They have been, but…
The Nancy strip historically has the character and spirit of Nancy “herself” and what made the Nancy strip GREAT in its loooooong and colorful past is that the strip was a lot less about the artist-writer.
Nancy “lived” right off the page, because The Bush allowed her to be queen of her own comic strip. “Queen of her own comic strip”. Nancy was comic strip royalty, and she now takes a back seat to cellphones and robotics class.
So, yeah, the line-writing improved over months, yay, but the characterization…

Realtalk this is always the issue with digitizing documents – the transition point.

Go back to yesterday. Copy and paste my comment of yesterday into today’s comments.
I was a day off.

It appears that this Fritzi works from home, too.

This is what scanners are for — not phones. Better quality, faster, stored directly on your computer or flash drive.

I can understand why it ran out of storage. It only had a 256 gig sd card in it.

She’s got the right idea. You take one (1) photo of all (all) the documents and throw them away.

As one who has not been enamored with this new iteration of this strip, I have to say this was very funny.

Wow. This approaches Bushmilleresque. The art still sucks.
