Of course, Calvin; it’s not fate when something bad happens to you!

Can you really ‘choose’ to be a fatalist?

The illusion of free will is authoritative enough, Calvin. Revel in it.

That’s quite the dirt pile from one quick fall.

I like how Calvin is clearly proud of himself for making that decision and he wants to tell everyone (judging by his expression in the first panel) hahaha

A slew foot and elbow to the chops. Hobbes reminds me of the Broad Street Bullies.

And, thus, I refute thee.

Seems very appropriate, given Calvin’s namesake, that he become a fatalist.

Last I heard, the “Free-Willers” and the “Predestinators” were still all tied up, and going into overtime.

Well, he was right, it wasn’t his fault…
