She had to be pulling pretty hard, and that quilt had to be resisting equally hard… must have been quite the fiasco!

I had to run this one through 3 times before I decided it isn’t that funny to me. Real life? Heck yes, but not the usual standard of funny here tonight.

The busy gal needs a clothesline. Every trip outside is a breath of fresh air with rose-colored glasses.

It’s even harder to pull out of the washer when it’s damp!

As my friend Rocko says… “Laundry day is a very dangerous day!”

I had to laugh. It’s the sort of thing I would do.

Only people of Opal’s age can understand this strip. I am 75 and I only have one shoulder that works well. I have a very old ankle injury from a motor vehicle accident. I often have to call my 90-year old husband for assistance with domestic chores. I have wondered many times how I will cope when he is no longer here to help me. The same applies to my dear hubby as well. We help each other but there comes a time when there is only one person left in the partnership. :(

Been there, done that, sans busted glasses, thankfully.

Earl was going to find out anyway when she wanted him to drive her to the optical store to get new frames
