I’ve had an Android for several months when suddenly Google Assistant kept coming to life, interrupting the audio I was listening to. I had to switch to headphones without a microphone, even though the quality is worse. I don’t like speaking and I refuse to use voice commands.
I just recently got my cable system upgraded, including voice-activated remote (which I don’t use). For the most part I like it, but it does one very weird thing. Some of the shows/movies I have just recorded for later viewing get dumped into the “Deleted” as soon as they finish recording, and, any other recorded episodes of the same show get taken along with it! Luckily, anything in “Deleted” can be restored. I have just recorded several episodes of “Downton Abbey” and each time a new one starts recording, all the ones previously recorded (and restored) go right back into “Deleted”!

My dogs are voice de-activated, if I yell loud enough, they shut up for a little while. (Yes, I’ve paid for professional training. Useless)

The only thing that should be voice-controlled is the Enterprise computer.
