OK. If Jacob wants some more intel, he must brainwash her. She knows more than she would recall. I vote for the brainwashing.

And second……other realities may like a good pork product. Refer back to Wally and the ship’s computer. It said it was was designed to harvest…..rules say only from dead worlds……rules can be broken especially if there is a demand for……certain commodities.

Nothing new under the sun. We’ve had countless civilizations that rationalized the devouring, metaphorical or literal, of the underclass. After all they aren’t REAL people like you or me, right?

Wow, even VELDA is getting the oh F*** look. I’m right though, JJ was never the target, that was just BS to get FOXWORTHY, already biased against authority in general, on board. As for the CCE, given upwards of 6 different variants are involved, it looks like FREEMAN’s gonna got his population reduction…

Mavis is lucky that the culture there is Western. In East Asia dogs are on the menu. Fettucine Al..fido, yummm! Of course they could make hot dogs with real dog or hush puppies with real puppies. Who knows what happens when they run out of pigs?

They set up the wolves to be blamed for the disappearances…but when the wolf activists were eliminated, it also got rid of a possible competitor for the porcine resource.

And now, Jacob is finding out that he’s been played by the “circle” of folks he thought he was leading. So, he doesn’t lead them, and he’s recently had the Rats show him that he hasn’t very much power over what transpires in Endtown, either. What will a desperate Rabbit…or is he a Hare…do?

I thought at first that Velda is grabbing Jacob’s arm because she’s amazed by these revelations…but maybe she’s just holding down Jacob’s arm because he almost raised his hand when Mavis said “Who likes bacon?”

Know this, that ev’ry soul is freeTo choose his life and what he’ll be;For this eternal truth is giv’n:That God will force no man to heav’n.

He’ll call, persuade, direct aright,And bless with wisdom, love, and light,In nameless ways be good and kind,But never force the human mind.

Freedom and reason make us men;Take these away, what are we then?Mere animals, and just as wellThe beasts may think of heav’n or hell.

May we no more our pow’rs abuse,But ways of truth and goodness choose; Our God is pleased when we improveHis grace and seek his perfect love.

The question now becomes, “how to keep the lid on this?” The rats would be down on dusting Mavis, but with Adam in the room it’s going to be harder to keep Freeman from accusing her of sedition and hanging her publicly. May have to turn her into a stack of index cards first, just to make sure you have all the names right. Then announce interviews for a new “department of homeland security” head. Call in each of the conspirators one at a time for vetting, and dust them when they’re alone.

    I’m revising my previous post.

“It’s a dog eat dog world.”

No, it’s a mutant eat mutant world.

In Unity, they in effect ate other kinds of mutants, not eating eggs that would hatch lizard folk. And up top, in the wasteland, the monsters are not picky…

At the moment, the only point of unity I can see among these folk is that they were born as Humans & were forcibly mutated into something else. But what happens if & when offspring arrive who never were “Human” in the first place? And then when THEY have offspring, and the original human-born generation dies off?

This all begs an interesting question: it’s always been understood that the mutants were humans whose physical appearance had (for some unknown reason) changed in such a way that they now resembled cartoon animals. The mutations we have witnessed have happened so fast, it couldn’t possibly be the result of an actual biological mutation process. So, when someone mutates, and ends up looking like a pig, has their muscle tissue become pork? It seems highly unlikely that it could have, so when mutants who don’t look like pigs slaughter and consume mutants who do look like pigs, isn’t it still simply cannibalism. If they indeed are somehow no longer all the same on the inside, then perhaps what we saw with the lizards in Unity will be the destiny of all mutants. If one species has become many different ones, then the odds of them peacefully coexisting in a highly stressed environment are way beyond slim. As Jim Kirk would say “I take it the odds are against us and the situation is grim? Sounds like fun.” ;-)
