Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
If youâre expecting tolerance of your intolerance, then youâre outta luck. Had enough your demands of civility to your incivility. The alt-right, one-percenters and pro-Confederate Nazi just want us to like them. Snowflacks one and all.
Sorry, but if you spent eight years claiming that Hawaii-born (American mother in any case) Obama was not born in the United States or not a natural born citizen (instead of John McCain who was born in Panama or Ted Cruz who was born in Canada), held up pictures of nooses (reminiscent of KKK lynchings) saying âHang in there, Obama,â or sported Nazi and KKKonfederate flags (the flags of slavery, treason, crushing defeat and humiliating surrender) or met with ReapubliCON legislators on January 20, 2009 (the night of Obamaâs inauguration) to enter into a pact to obstruct everything Obama supported (even if it meant filibustering your own bills after Obama accepted them), no, YOU DO NOT GET TO TALK ABOUT CIVILITY.
The first two posts were uncivil to Scott Stantis, calling him out for hypocrisy. The racist demonstrations cited by DDWIZ were things that happened and were sanctioned by Republicans, none of which were acknowledged by you.
Nowhere was there ANY implication that liberals are always right nor that they need not be civil to anyone else.
.
When you deliberately misinterpret a post like that, it falls into the category of lying â of course Trump Disciples greatly admire Trump when he continues to lie.
.
And the racism? Trumpâs chief strategist Steve Bannon says to wear it as a badge of honor.
Sorry, but no. There comes a point where someone has stepped so far past the lines of human decency, crossed so far over the moral event horizon, that continuing to be âtolerantâ of them would in effect be to condone the terrible things they are doing to other people. To condone the real, material harm they bring to the lives of those who are not in a position to defend themselves. To condone the malevolent intent and ill will with which they go about damaging the prospects, livelihoods, human rights and sometimes very LIVES of other human beings.
(And if you think that is even REMOTELY hyperbolic, you are speaking from willful ignorance. Stephen Millerâs motivations have been public record for a very long time. So have Steve Bannonâs. So have Jeff Sessionsâ. The examples are countless.)
I will not be âcivilâ to anyone who rationalizes, minimizes, downplays, excuses or trivializes the destruction and terror being inflicted on other people, let alone anyone who openly SUPPORTS it. To do so would be a betrayal of human decency.
And if you do not recognize yourself as supporting such destruction and malevolence, you are speaking from a place of privileged ignoranceââoften self-imposed. This is, and always will be, inexcusable and unforgivable.
It wasnât President Trump who Spent Eight years Claiming Obama wasnât born in the US. It was Hillary, the person who started the whole Birther thing.
But Hey why should anyone question Obama, the FIRST President who didnât bother to show his bona fides to Congress. Who instead had Nancy Pelosi ram through a Special Measure through Congress Deeming that his bona fides have been examined as required. Who would suspect the First president in History to have his Scholastic Records Classified or expunged at the cost of Millions of Dollars might not have something like not having a valid Birth Certificate to hide?

There was a kid in elementary school who always yelled, âTime out!â when they were about to get tagged. That kid would tag littler, slower kids when that kid started off as âitâ, but when they were being pursued by the âitâ kid it was always âTime out!â.
Now that the progressive side is getting steamed up, and using the Radical Rightâs tactics, the Radical Right calls for civility, for good manners.
They can oppose every law promoted by the Left, stall every nominee for office, but when the shoe is on the other foot, they yell, âTime Out!â
The Radical Right has persistently tarnished or trashed the terms âprogressiveâ and âliberalâ, has lumped the Democratic Socialism of the Scandinavians, the US and every other developed country with whatever the hell the Venezuelans have, but when the Left pushes back, the Right yells, âTime out!â
But why would Trump supporters mind that? By supporting him, they are making it clear that they LIKE name-calling, since he does it every time he opens his mouth.
They get downright orgasmic when their False Orange God turns gutter-mouthed, so spare me the phony indignation.
Trump is clearly a cancer. Heâs infected his people, and now heâs infecting everyone else. Heâs made it OK to hate, threaten and degrade others.
I will not stoop to his level. We must be better than him, otherwise we become him. Donât shy away from the truth. The truth about Trump is all you need. Just avoid the hate. Hating cancer is pointless. Opposing cancer is what matters.

Trump is great!
at lying
at deceiving
at stealing millions of dollars
at never paying back debts
at changing his mind if you love him
at lack of empathy
at saying whatever to win
at being a poor excuse for a human being
Oh yes he is great at the worst most depraved things in our culture. Get over it wimps!

Selective Inclusion. A new oxymoron. Which also describes all progressive democrats. Please note the qualifier.
