Seems like a lot, but when you realize that a lot of cars are priced OVER that amount, not so much.

New SUVs, trucks, and several luxury marques START at that price point. Even some run of the mill cars like Ford, Chevrolet, etc., can hit that, or go beyond, $50k. It’s a long way from when you could get a brand-new full-sized car for $17K right off the show floor, like my dad did in 1986.

Just noticed as well: isn’t “Irv” the bird-guy who fixes his DeSoto all the time? And, he apparently sells old 60s to 90s cars for that price??

And the scary part, that’s Irv’s Used Cars.

But it’s a direct descendant of your DeSoto .

Oh just go for it Cosmo . . . I had TWO midlife crises . . .a 1988 Trans Am and a 2008 Miata! LOL

I didn’t go for the red sports car for my mid-life crises. I opted for a red pickup truck and a tall blond.

Don’t do it Cosmo ! People will ALWAYS look ’n stare at the old DeSoto going down the street. All the vehicles look the same nowadays.

The payments continue from your mid life crisis to your old age crisis.

For less than that you can get a Tesla that’ll run you into a pedestrian or another vehicle free of charge.

I can’t afford life.
