Who at the fair is NOT going to remember Peter from two years ago?

Not the roller coaster, the octopus.

I know, I know…. it’s a comic and a real person wouldn’t do that.

But I just went to our county fair yesterday, so I couldn’t help my first thought being

“Yikes! That’s $136 worth of $9 corn dogs!”

Assuming he bought the “cheap” plain ones, and not the 10 to 14 dollar apiece fancy stuffed ones.

I saw a sign offering a lunch “special”…

“Only” $14.50 for a plain corn dog, a small fries (just what you need with a breaded, fried hot dog) and a soda.

Gosh, something for the kids.

According to today’s “Get Fuzzy”, I think they’re going to need some vinegar.

Drinky Bird ride?

It’s so funny that this should be today’s strip, as we are going to a nearby amusement park today. We haven’t been in years. Admittedly, the main reason we’re going today is to see our friend, who is the park’s Elvis impersonator, and he’s only here this weekend.

I wonder if Jason will develop an appetite like Peter’s when he reaches that age…

Arranging corn dogs in a molecular structure looks like something Jason would do.

As a pre teen I went to an Amusement Park with cousins. Yup, he ate 2 hot dogs, fries and a coke. Sat in the first car on the coaster – right after his feast. You know the rest of the story. Ah memories – still trying to wash some away. Soooooo glad I didn’t sit in the second car with my other cousin.

Roller coasters never bothered my stomach. Now, anything that goes around, bad news. I always just avoided those.

Take those corn dogs on a water ride!

Our state fair in KS is starting the weekend after Labor Day weekend.

Go on the ride first and then eat all the food!

I think someone fell off.

Judging by the garbage can adorned with bugged-out eyes and a long proboscis, this is another trip to Fun-Fun Mountain.
