Calvin is one of the few kids (real or otherwise), who I’d put up for a spanking by somebody! In fact, he’s the only one I can think about!

I love the “Cartoon Physics” of the water now being knee-deep even though dad clearly didn’t see any beforehand, and JUST OPENED THE DOOR. Great work by Watterson :).

Too bad their insurance agent inserted an Act of Calvin clause into the homeowners policy.

Though a person is allowed to make mistakes, in the process of learning, there’s a right and wrong way of doing this. Sorry Calvin; this was the wrong way.

…and Calvin can’t use Hobbes as a shield!

He was hiding to avoid a hiding but Dad found him anyway.

Calvin has a sort of “Charlie Brown” look about him.

Hobbes has the right idea, bet Calvin wishes he could turn into a stuffed toy round about now….

Calvin nothing more could possibly say I’m guilty than hiding in the room where you committed the crime.

Watterson never had kids. I think Calvin was the perfect birth control
