    Actually, if you have enough dry tinder and plenty of small kindling (even if wet), you can dry out the wood as the fire slowly grows. Bottom of pine trees is a good place to find dry pine needles for tinder and small, dry wood for kindling to get you started. Won’t work in a downpour, but has worked for me in a drizzle.

    It’s possible to start a fire with wet wood. My Dad used to do it by splitting opend some logs or sticks— the wood on the inside was dry, so he could split off some splints and shavings, and use them to get the fire going. Then if you can get the split (dry) middle of the sticks lit, the fire dries the outside. Then add wood slowly, so the fire dries each piece.

    Actually, a sufficient quantity of gasolene works, as well, and, remember, you really didn’t need those eyebrows, anyway.

    I see people taking risks all the time when they cross a street while they are looking down at their phone. I don’t think taking that kind of risk is smart at all.
