Corndogs… YUM!!! There’s something that’s just so disgustingly good about them…Yes, they are bad for you, NO, I don’t want to know whats in them, but YES, I LOVE them with mustard!
Our local county fair is starting this weekend (well, today actually). My daughter and I are going on Tuesday. I used to eat one of each of my favorites, once a year at the fair. Can’t any more, but the memories are good. :o) They never disagreed with me – doubt that is still the case, however. LOL
I’ve been thinking (a dangerous pastime, I know)…I love this comic and have been reading it for years. However, I do not remember ever seeing my teachers during summer break from school. I guess if the kids were not part of this strip, it would be pretty boring just featuring the adults. ☺
How dare a young child eat junk food and enjoy their summer! That’s a slippery slope kid, and those carbs will CERTAINLY effect your lap times for the peewee triathlon you’re expected to enter.
I was too stupefied to imagine doing it, but I actually watched a guy consume a deep-fried stick of butter!!! He claimed it was delicious. I could almost hear his arteries putting up the detour signs.
I won’t say the world isn’t somehow enhanced by corn dogs. I’ve enjoyed them almost half the time I’ve eaten them, and I’m not done trying. But the world probably doesn’t absolutely need corn dogs. The world absolutely needs selective amnesia. Too many things that were unpleasant, hard, painful, humiliating, scary, frustrating or in some other way planted on the negative side of the motivational scale, too many of those things need to be done more than once. Viva whatever it was.

Naturally, the dog is trying to say I’ll take care of those corn dogs for you!

Never had one, but it does seem to be a matter of quantity.

And summer amnesia brings sweet memory in the ‘dull’ days.

Love corn dogs. My wife found out (and so did I) why I discouraged her from getting a deep fried pickle. One Bite. Never again.

My daughter won’t eat hot dogs unless they’re battered in corn meal and fried on a stick.

I have never over eaten corn dogs or felt ill because of that or had summer amnesia.

I had a foot long corndog just a couple days ago. Then I threw up that night. Totally worth it.
