I met my cat when he was trying to get into one of the schools where I teach music lessons. When they put him out, he crawled into the engine compartment of my car — he rode there for 12 hours and nearly 100 miles, unknown to me. A little while after I got home that evening, he came out and started meowing. When we opened the door to the garage, he just came in, unhurt, and made himself at home. He’s ruled the roost ever since.
We found our Boo-Boo (1984-2007) under a bush, on a kid’s playground. Boo-Boo the “snootch” as we called her was a Jellicle who danced during the Jellicle moon at the Jellicle ball. T.S. Elliot
“Ludwig- The Origin Story”….Decades in the making….with a budget on par with a “Star Wars” episode….Music by John Williams and the Boston Pops…Car chases….Arlo walking away from an explosion without looking back…mice….birds….and Ludwig laying in a sunbeam….This Fall….Coming to a Theatre near You!
Arlo and Janet’s house is on old Indian burial grounds. Someone saw the fresh tilled earth and decided to bury their newly deceased kitty. Long story short here’s Luddy!
My darling Macushla (in my avatar) was hiding under some screens we had set up against the house, my husband moved them and there was this cat family living underneath, and one was a darling white kitten. I took her and named her Macushla. We found homes for the rest of them. I had her for 16 years until last September when she passed away. She was my soul mate, the most wonderful kitty. I will miss her forever.
The best cat I’ve ever had was Bugs, he was in the parking lot of my power plant when I got off work at midnight, I picked him up an put him in the car, started to drive out and he was fussing so I stopped and let him out and started to slowly drive away. When he started chasing the car I stopped and let him back in, one great cat, got along with my 113# german shepard. He in fact outlived the dog, but when the dog died after 12 years, bugs passed in a year I think he died missing his big buddy.

It’s good to have some history on Luddy. The kitten must have been lost. I wonder if some family wondered to where he went?

My wife and I have had five cats over the years, and each one came to us, checked us out, and decided to stay. They adopted us; we didn’t adopt them.
We miss them every day.

Oh he’s adorable as a tiny kitten. And now we know how he came to live with them.

Janis must have lost or broke her phone. She is actually reading something today instead of staring at a screen.

We had a cat that we found under a cedar tree in our yard. He walked with a limp. We therefore named him Forrest Gimp. We miss him every day.

Cats were once treated as Gods and they have NOT forgotten that.
