Who wants to bet Portia has just died?

I’m not takin’ that bet, Dragoncat! I imagine that Portia has, or soon will.

I wish Walt hadn’t done that, though I don’t blame him. The wolf was a witness. I suspect Denise is also part of the cannibalism ring and the wolf is – was- calling her out in her attempt to deflect blame away from herself. She’s a despicable creature; I disliked her during the Heather Hoss trial.

Who wants to bet Justice just died.

Remember: Pigs will eat meat too.

All according to plan. Someone’s plan. Maybe Portia’s brain will live long enough to be scanned. The wolf’s brain is pretty much just a puddle of light gray goo. Now is Walt in the grips of the schism like Jim after his trauma. Velda may have to empty the mag. If not……they better double the rope for a 500 pounder hanging.

I guess Walt could not “Bear” it anymore and put down a rabid wolf!

Story seems to be falling apart here. Wolf dead, Portia probably dead, bunny barking up the wrong tree, Walt pulverizing a potential witness, from this vantage point it appears that

only the guilty will go free!

Walt SMASH!

Portia screaming “Walt, that’s the wrong guy!” gets drowned out by the sound of crunching. At least he’s getting a good cardio out of this.

Let us all hope that he was the liar.

I guess it depends on what else Portia said in the note. She might have named the people she went to go confront—as well as where she was going to do it. The note is what brought Walt over there.

I gotta say – Aaron’s art in the last two panels is amazingly terrifying. Walt’s partially visible face shows a level of emotion that would terrify me. Aaron’s talent and brilliance continues to make this comic one of the best ever created.

Oh, Walt. You fell for the bait. :-(

Denise must’ve been pretty confident Portia wasn’t going to be alive to refute her claim..

Walt has knocked the wolf down in the 3rd panel, but who is he reaching for in the 4th? Possibly the wolf or possibly Denise?

Remember, Portia shot the wolf. She probably had reason to do so. And if the wolf was supplying the pills, he is a central member of the cannibal cabal. Maybe if Walt knew about the soul shredder, he’d let Jacob have these two. Oh well, the best laid schemes o’ rats and rabbits, Gang aft a-gley!

Oh, Lord… Walter’s psyche is even more shattered that Portia’s. If he does get arrested, I can only hope Security will show him some mercy, and perhaps put a fishing pole and a bucket of water in his cell.

He’s more relaxed when he’s fishing…

We’re about to find out that this is actually Walt’s twin brother who has been living in empty basement apartments since Walt lost the Mayor gig. He’s a mean drunk who hates wolves just because their howling keeps him up at night. ;-)
