Turn around Woman and you’ll probably see Elvis’ horkage to clean up too.

Love Lupin’s wide spread paw (with toe beans!) denial of all knowledge.

And once again, the Woman’s plant hopes are dashed.

Elvis gives this plant the “blech tongue” paws down for taste. Perhaps it was the earthy aftertaste he didn’t care for.

Yeah, Lupin’s what sounds like Bandit and DC. Smokey used to be like that when she was little, now she just gives you a “I don’t care” attitude. Unless she thinks you might be really mad and she’s got one of the boys nearby, then it’s “The kitten did it!”

Probably would have been more accurate for Elvis to say “That tasted terrible going down and worse coming back up”

“Did Yenta say anything about me?” Kip asked. Tre-C was thinking; “Don’t bite just yet.. let’s see where this goes” Then she said; “Well, I didn’t know you then so you didn’t really come up.” Not exactly true. Tre-C HAD asked about the father, but Yenta would not “name names”; only state that that the babies were indeed her full kin. “Megan spent some time with Yenta, maybe you should ask her”. While it may be true that cats like to play with their prey, this was not really Tre-C’s intent. She felt entitled to have a little fun with Kip, but the truth was she could feel- no matter how hard she fought it- a slowly growing affection for the old Tom. This was, after all, her daddy.‘How did you get to mom and back here? Hop a train?” “Megan,” Kip replied “She showed me these… tunnels I guess you could call ’em. I never could get to all the places she can, but she got me to L.A. Couldn’t go anywhere else, but after Yenta, L.A. was the only place I really wanted to be other than here. All because of your mother. I hope this doesn’t sound too weird, but sometimes I go back there just to watch her from the tree in the back yard. "

Let’s admit it. Cats have got the wide-eyed innocence look down pat. One of the many skills their mothers teach them as kittens. Puck adds lots of eye lashes to his to amplify his adorableness.

I know that Lupin face well – “me? I didn’t do anything, it just fell off” Main culprit these days is Sammy, if it’s on the kitchen table, coffee tables or cabinet top it’s investigated and tap, tap, tapped so it falls to the floor. His favourite thing to play with is pens – no idea why but I find them all over the house

Maybe a little catnip tea will wash away the aftertaste, Elvis.

I love the fact that despite her plants being destroyed, the Woman still has a smile for her boys. If something like that had happened in my parents’ house when I was little (which it did from time to time) kitty would have got a swat on the rump. :( My mother was merciless. And those were sweet mischievous kitties . . she’s putty in the paws of Tinkerbelle the Terror now! Probably getting her back for years and years of punishing cats for the mischievous things they do. ;p

Ah yes, no one does the wide-eyed innocent look like Lupin. If that fails (it never seem to), he can always fall back on the “What? I can’t hear you. I’m deaf! What did you say? I don’t understand.”

Got the van worked on this week. I was getting a low oil pressure warning. Bad pressure sending unit.

My problem now is getting down there to pick it up. I have only a two hour window to get it today, otherwise i’m going to have to dash down after my last client Friday and hope that i can get there before the shop closes.

The plan had been to get a ride yesterday to git it. But, Jenny’s two hour baby-sitting job turned into a five hour shopping trip for the grandmother. The office can’t help because we are short a caregiver, and both nurse and boss are working in the field to cover.

If i go Friday, i won’t be able to go grocery shopping for a different client the i shop for on Fridays. ($5ºº Friday at Safeway.)

Good morning and happy Thursday/Purrsday, orbsters and orbabies!! All hail my mighty huntress! She caught a cicada this morning, brought it in, ran into the bedroom with it and dropped it on her sleeping, unsuspecting daddy! I know I’m cruel, but I couldn’t stop laughing. Paul was NOT amused. He grumbled into his robe, picked it up and dropped it outside, to Yum Yum’s great distress. I have the feeling we’ll be seeing that cicada again soon. Anyway, my friends, I have a doctor’s appointment I have to leave for in a little bit. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Ok, small change of topic here: I am looking at my August BCN calendar page, and just now noticed that Tommy is wearing water wings/ floaties ! This resulted in some minor nasal horkage. OMC.

We once had a cat who pitched the mail. She’d hop up on the counter and bat each envelope over the edge and watched carefully as it fluttered to the floor. When she was done she’d hop down and walk away with the satisfaction of a job well done.

The call of the flora is just too great. Our intrepid hero’s are only Cat. The boy’s know the Woman will be upset, but this cat vs. plant and the cat’s have their honor to uphold.

    The plants are here now

    The cats eyeing with desire

    With tears they must pounce

I’ve heard of a condition among cats known as Convenient Amnesia. It strikes without warning (as do cats) and there is no known cure. The only way to deal with it is to fix whatever mess they leave and move on.

Anyone have any costume ideas they’s like to see the boys wear? How about:

    .Vaqueros

.Siamese palace guards (with Elvis in charge, of course!)

    .Nerds, complete with pocket protectors

.(De)construction workers with tools of the trade

.Fly fishercats with lots of line!

    Any others?

    Blessings!!! Love, >^.,.^<
