I’m guessing right now that Grizzly over there is a distant relation of Tekken’s Kuma Mishima, the family pet/bodyguard of the Mishima family who’s got a lovesick panda bear trailing him while the Chinese schoolgirl who is her owner is helplessly lovesick over the Mishima family’s illegitimate prodigal son?

Still kind of disappointed Roy didn’t work out some kind of Gon Freecs move with that fishing rod, would have been flashier and prabably the safer alternative, I doubt that scar was part of the deal.

And so in 48 hours we go from “Wow Charlene owes Roy her life!” to “How could she have ever forgiven him?”. Just as good, feeling respect for Roy was just too weird for me anyway. XD

I knew there was something fishy here… but wait, if that bear acts like that, that makes me wonder a lot of things about the world where they live… or that bear is really from other comic strip.

The detail in the last panel is amazing. The girls faces in #1 is great too. I love Charlene’s gesture and her smile.
