“Mom’s a good driver”

First of all, I find it very interesting to see John refer to Elly as “mom” twice.

Second of all, I find it very interesting that John seems to have completely forgotten that mom is not a good driver. Oh well. I am sure he will remember that soon enough.

Why shouldn’t Mom be in charged of something wild and sporty? She’s been in charge of you and your sister for years now. (Okay, maybe not sporty, but — )

I waiting to see Elly get two kids and a rather large dog in that two seater.

He should have told his dad “Imagine you car parked at the supermarket with all those carts around.” :-)

John must be travelling more than three people, otherwise he’s a bit of a jerk to take the family van.

I trust that “Mom” is okay with this arrangement, John. You did ask her about it, didn’t you?

The sports car is more than a 2-seater? How will she ferry the kids and their gear around?

Probably a “sporty” sedan.

Car driver discrimination….auto-bullying.

Kid, if you could actually see all the things you can’t imagine your mom doing that she’s actually done, you’d be struck blind.

My eyes, my eyes!! Heh, Heh!

Gotta love the “Bulk Buds” bran cereal. Lynn had a lot of fun making up brand names.

I really respect Lynn for making fun of herself. An all too rare trait amongst us humans.

Does anyone else have a sense that this will end badly?
