I have some squeaky stairs that I wouldn’t mind if Ralph fixed. They drive me bonky.

Our front door pings when it’s opened. I think it started after we had the alarm installed right after moving in. No one could get rid of it. 30 years later, it no longer irritates me and I think of it as a happy sound which I would miss if someone dared to fix it.

I don’t mind the sounds I recognize in my home, it’s when some new sound pops up that I get worried.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, except sometimes it gets change.

Send him over to Camp Swampy in the Beetle Bailey comic, and he can do Sgt. Snorkel a big favor and oil up Lt. Fuzz’s squeaky chair (it has been squeaking for about 20 years as far as I know).
