If I’m not mistaken, a California King is LONGER, not WIDER. (Correct me if I’m wrong). I would rather have a bed that’s the width of two queens or two kings side by side. Don’t need the length. One time we had that in a hotel…two kings together. That was amazing.
I’m back! Did you miss me? One place we visited didn’t have Internet at all, and another only had a limited amount. Last year I used up all of BIL’s time, and he had to go down and buy more. Gotta love Tennessee!
ANY size bed is fine if the love is there! However…having said that, I have to admit I always enjoyed it when we were not in bed together (split work shifts, separate vacations, illness.. (God forbid)…a disagreement!) It gave us a needed ‘break’. So…thank heavens for that spare guest room!

A King is way too big. We keep losing each other!

Queen is plenty. You can still snuggle.

I like a King when travelling. We have a queen at home but the new trailer has a king so that’s kinda nice.

A queen leaves just enough room for a small dog. And anything bigger won’t fit in the bedroom.

A full is fine for one person; for 2 it’s like one in a single – but less comfortable.
A king is Rob & Laura Petrie territory, except you can’t decide which side to get in and out on.
A queen lets you touch, but still have room for comfort. I do wish they were 6" longer, though.

We still have a full size, it makes snuggling easier. We are not big people though.

Love the Closeness of a Queen bed
