Why let facts get in the way of a good story?

I doubt Mr. Nagle is going to care no matter what he sees. Maybe he will since this is just a comic strip, but a real life reporter with an agenda doesn’t care about facts!

Marcy has the right attitude. After a tour, there’s a good chance they’ll get an unbiased review.

This is a better way to “attack”. If you just go for the throat it makes people more defensive.

wait wait wait…did this guy write an editorial about a hospital’s free health care clinic WITHOUT EVEN VISITING IT?! That is some pretty hardcore bad reporting there, do your damn research!

Oh, I see… Now that his story is world famous, Marcy is going to make him see just how wrong he really was. He’ll have no choice but to write a retraction (which will no doubt embarrass him), or be exposed as a liar (which will hurt his career even more).

Any way he looks at it, he’s doomed.

This is her plan. Use the reader-attracting critical and misleading article to draw huge free attention to them, then show the writer how things are really run so that he will want to write a complementary follow-up that everyone will read. Free positive publicity! Smart lady!
