NOT HARDLY. Pterodactyls were the size of chickens and didn’t have crests on their heads. The creature depicted is more of a Pteranodon(ish).
And they are not dinosaurs, either. By definition, all dinosaurs belong to one of the two groups in Dinosauria, Saurischia or Ornithischia. This excludes pterosaurs from being dinosaurs.

Can the authors of this strip explain todays “Back to BC” strip? It’s got everyone stumped.
