For all those that are lucky enough to be young enough at this time to have a child like this, be grateful. My son, that had this type of personality is 57 now and I have to laugh at the memory of some of the things he did.
Was the puppet already on his hand and kept hidden as he went up there? Some of the kids would have seen what’s behind his back as he walked up to the board.
For show and tell, I once used a rubber arm for a mannequin, only I put it up my sleeve with my arm underneath my shirt. I introduced my demo by saying that I had a secret that I would now reveal, and then pulled my arm out from under my shirt. A few seconds later the classroom was not quite empty.
Received a firm lecture from a teacher who was trying not to laugh.

I guess somebody followed Calvin and Hobbes home from their trip last week.

Got to love this kids imagination! Sadly by the time he’s twenty they will have forced his unique shape into a square hole!

Did Calvin and Hobbes have a stowaway from their return from trying to live on Mars?

Calvin has got to work on his ventriloquism.

Actually, that’s pretty clever for show and tell.

He showed. And he told. I don’t see the problem.

Would have been really funny to see the kids screaming.

That’s one hell of a non-sequitur from Mrs. Wormwood!

What’s the report card have to do with show and tell? That was never anything we were graded on.

In my books Calvin would have an “A” for the week.

If I were his teacher I’d applaud his imagination.
