Nowadays the noise we hear is the error beep when we try to type but another invisible window has stolen the focus, or the pop-up ad: “Play the burly men and bursty women online game now! Gameplay? Didn’t you hear? We’ve got burly men and busty women! Who needs gameplay?”

Anyone else in here old enough to remember using a manual typewriter? Man, am I glad that those things are now for emergencies only.

I hope Schulz gave the original art for these strips to his secretary. (Secretaries?)

I have a ceramic roller; I never have to lick an envelope again. (We actually have self-sticking envelopes, but sometimes we mail thing in return envelopes, which aren’t.)
