I’m with Frank. Pushing holiday merchandise so far ahead of it’s traditional calendar season is depressing. It also depresses seasonal sales. Businesses have complained about the lower sales volume during the actual Christmas season, but continue to push the stuff out and hawk Sale Sale Sale two months early. Do they expect people to buy early then turn around and buy more? Seems to me they get enough competition from the online companies that they don’t need to compete with themselves.

Dressing up for all those holidays is a bit of a drag.

So that store will be decorated for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s all at the same time.
