My wife buys ice cream, cookies, etc and I end up eating most of them, because I’m retired and home all day; so, it’s always snack time.

I love ice cream but try to curb my urges to eat an entire half-gallon in one sitting, by buying the flavors of ice cream that my wife likes and I’m not overly fond of. We have an untouched Neapolitan sitting in the freezer, because I don’t like chocolate ice cream and am not overly enamored with strawberry… but I’ve been known to eat all the vanilla and leave the rest.

My father passed away this last August at 87 from Parkinson’s complications. He used to say Wendy’s frosty did not raise his sugar and he loved it every day. Then we found out they had missed diagnosed him diabetic.

No wonder she tends to be more easy with Nelson. She meaner with herself than with spouse.
