Tiff still doesn’t get that Borenice is her total opposite! no makeup, camera or fans looking for your autograph. Borenice is the anti – Tiff.

Well Now. The Tiffany Fans (One in Particular) will be very Happy at this development. Looks as though Our Lovely has put back on a few pounds, but in the (A-Hem) all the right places.

But the real irony here, at least to, Me, is threefold:

    1) Tiffany is feeding her own ego while Bernice is “using” her as a “test subject.”

    2) Somebody SHOULD be interviewing Bernice, instead.

    3) There are two guys over at the Gulag that will gladly FEED Tiffany’s “delusions.”

And I wager that one or both of those Gulag Guys WILL do just that before this story arc is over, provided Tiffany doesn’t seek THEM out first.

Or will this Arc be a series of Bernice interviewing other “Interesting test subjects” such as Luann, Gunther, (GAG) Les? Only the Sheriff knows for sure and he ain’t ah talking……., ;)

Of course Tiffany was expecting something more. Greg has always used her as a punching bag, so she’s more than correct in thinking that it’s finally her turn for something spectacular to happen for her.

Wasted makeup, dolled up hair, squeezing into stretch pants and no doubt a sexy bra. Looks to me like tiffany was advertising to try to seduce someone. Not sure who though. Probably why she’s so disappointed.

This could become a really interesting arc. Maybe the one in which Bernice, finally, will learns how not to condemn people based on her own preconceptions and prejudices and will start to become a real psychologists.

Bernice and Tiffany, new are coming. For those who complain about main characters in Luannverse, I always counsel, just be patient. This is a continuous loop, or maybe a merry-go-round, and these characters are always coming around eventually. Typical Bernice prescient observation, which she always depends too much on, and Tiffany is Tiffany, God love her.

How did Tiffany even get into college let alone graduate high school? Is she like Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde? I think more like her dad bought her way in and probably buys her grades too.

I’m sorry, folks. But to me, the old, slim Tiffany was more congruent with her character. Even the overweight Tiffany of recent times was congruent with her depression and self-doubt. This Tiffany is starting to look like “Delta Dawn” of song fame. Or Manilow’s Lola from “Copacabana.” She’s rapidly becoming truly delusional.

“Congruent” Tiffany was brash, sassy. Her life was ahead of her. This “incongruent” Tiffany is just sad. Her life is behind her. We’re not so sure that she will achieve her prior dreams. Bernice’s psych profile of the old Tiffany would be humorous because we all knew that Tiffany would “make life happen.” With this, incongruent, Tiffany we’re beginning to think her life is in the past; like an old, silent screen movie star. (sigh!)

Woah…. this was a big surprise to me! I was anticipating a continuation of Shannon, Brad, Toni, & TJ. It is a nice surprise, however…. I like Tiffany NOT in a Gunther/Les arc (at least thus far)…. and having it occur at Moony is a plus as is (to me) having Tiffany and Bernice interact. This should be really fun.

A bit sadly, however, is that Tiffany is seeming to revert back to her old personality form here. It is realistic, though in that people do not change completely in most instances, but gradually evolve. But, today’s actions by Tiffany seem more in keeping with the prior/original Tiffany and not the newer Tiffany who is becoming a bit more aware and more insightful.

Hopefully, if Greg continues having Bernice talk with Tiffany, we will see more of the new Tiffany’s deeper side resurface again.

Psychology majors should really avoid diagnosing people. It can be very damaging, sort of like looking up headaches on WebMD and concluding that you have a tumor.

Bernice, as well, has regressed today. Since G&K have opted to use characters who physically age, we do expect some mental growth (which stays) alongside them too. Oye!

Listening and observing are not synonymous with judging and diagnosing. In fact they’re very different since it tends to lead to prejudice and cognitive dissonance.

Hmm. Interesting….. at 4:30pm EST….. only 137 comments on a Tiffany focused comic. That seems to be running lower than typical. Is it:

    1) Tiffany only elicits a lot of comments when Gunther and/or Les are around as well?

    2) Bernice quells commenting numbers?

    3) The official (governmental) celebration of Veteran’s Day is today and there are fewer folks at their work computers and most retirees also are out and about (perhaps both groups are visiting cemeteries and paying respect to relatives who died in service)?

    4) Relatively minor story plot today?

    5) Other (you suggest).
