As someone who isn’t terribly interested in the shenanigans of the new cast, and fascinated by the INCREDIBLY long history of this strip, this has been a fun little arc for me, though I swear Scancarelli just loses track of things and does completely random one-offs so much the he completely lost the point of this tribute about 25 times.

Boy, you’d think that Jeff, who was “born” in 1908, would KNOW all about running boards & radios! SHEESH!!

Okay, I did laugh out loud at the pie coming in. Nice ending!

I feel a little like I felt at the end of the “Lost” series finale. Not quite as disappointed, angry, and cheated as I did then, but just a little bit of that…

Yes, there is radio, I remember Sunday mornings when a DJ would read the comic strips, did a great job. They never got to eat.

I Love all the other Comic’s characters that Jim has brought to life again from Barney Google to The Shadow to so many others, he draws with a great Pen!

Much speculation, but the outcome remains to be seen. For my money, the strip needs to continue unabated with new installments.

We must forge on to Skeezix’s 100th in 2021, after that who will really care?
