Neighbor Bob was about to say his new job was whitewashing fences but they couldn’t help him because it was just too much fun for anyone else to do.

I’ll be happy to get into the office today. After the four-day weekend, I’m climbing the walls.

I dread Sunday nights because Monday is so close.

When you’re retired you can’t tell what day of the week it is unless you make a point to look at the calendar.

My wife shares a similar point of view.

The problem is not that neighbor Bob said that, the problem is that he said it Monday morning. Hit him again for me, Rat.

I wonder if Bob helps head trauma patients.

I had a job like that once (not the one of hitting people with a fry pan). Looked forward to going to work each day and getting paid to boot.

I was surprised by the second panel. I expected Garfield to show up and kick Bob off his stool.

Being of the elderly persuasion, I’m retired. The hours are great, but the pay – not so much.

Poor neighbor Bob.
