Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
This strip originally appeared on January 5, 1989. (I checked in a Calvin and Hobbes archive). GoComics is re-printing these in chronological order and did not cherry pick this strip for its seeming appropriateness to current affairs.
This is just a: 1) cosmic coincidence, and 2) a tribute to Bill Wattersonâs ability to capture human traits. His body of work should be one for the ages.
The wall might work provided there are no shovels, ladders, or boats. The wall is a very expensive illusion of safety from all those toddler criminals coming across the boarder. In fact, it would take a pretty stupid criminal to present themselves at the border where their record would automatically disqualify them, when they can just anchor a boat off shore and swim in, dig under any wall thatâs built, or buy a ladder one foot taller than however high they can build the wall.
Yesterday I mentioned metro KS, I did not mention where in KS. Oh and that snow day for kids, due to the ground being warm, kids did have fun but ended early as the snow melted. Also location I live as we are not affected by the weather OK is receiving of ice.
Who is it that refuses to back down? Pelosi and Schumer! They wonât even support what they themselves said a few years ago?? Have they never heard âe-mails and recordings are foreverâ? Just ask Hillary.
Iâve noticed that one of the complications of the Trump derangement syndrome is that we go a couple of weeks without anybody saying much about President Trump. Then all of the sudden it explodes and people start spouting nonsense and incoherent opinions. I hope the CDC can find a treatment.

Is this one that was âTrump-facedâ during the campaign? It shouldâve been, and couldnât have come up at a better time.

I know so many adults who agree with Calvin in the last frame. Some people grow up, others just get older.

Growing up is optional, growing old is mandatory.

If one side wants to do something stupid, and the other side says no. Compromise will result in doing something half-stupid.

Technology is the answer, not a luddite wall. Just trumpeting âborder securityâ doesnât make it right. Or is logic too hard for you trumpers?
whelan_jj about 6 years ago
Everyone knows the best way is to just do it or get it. Easier to do that and ask for forgiveness than to ask and risk being refused.

I think you should need to get a license to prove you deserve to have an opinion. I can imagine millions of Americans who could not qualify.
