Done that! My dad once wandered the lane for a bit, and finally spotted Mum’s car. “Oh, good. I’ll catch a ride home with her.” and a split second later – “Duh!” (Except I can’t imagine him ever saying “Duh”!)

Drove my mother’s car to the store once and I realized I couldn’t even remember the color.

I once parked and started in to the store and thought “did I lock the car? Naw, it’ll be ok. No one will steal it.” When I came back out it was gone. I started to go back inside and call the cops when I passed my car in a different row. All the way home I wondered “why would someone steal my car and move it to another row?”

Wife has a Kia, I have an 8 ft tall white van. If we are driving the Kia, she’s with me, and she has an amazing memory.

I had a black SUV. So do thousands of other people. I once hopped in a running SUV and looked over and said “You’re not my wife!” Luckily we were parked right next to them and she saw my wife in my car when I got in.

I look at the license plate. Ours is the name of a very popular city in Europe. It is easily recognizable and folks from that city always have a comment.

Just use the “PANIC” button on your key. You’ll find your car! Or keep pressing the “Lock” button twice and follow the chirp…

We have had only one car for the last several years. Saves a lot of confusion.
