Is there more than one noon or, for that matter, one midnight? Isn’t “It’s noon!” enough? Must he say “twelve noon” as if “noon” on its own were ambiguous? Is there more than one noon every day? Would a simple “It’s noon!” cause confusion?
Just to be sure, I would go check it out.
