if like a bowling ball, no finger/thumb holes

And what are the mountain ranges supposed to be?
Sure there are, CB. And it keeps coming apart at the seams somewhere around San Andreas.
Sew what, CB?
Wish I could say “no stitches”. Unfortunately, I’m having surgery in a few hours. :-(
Evidently Shermy was the brains of the operation. And he vanished, a few years later. Hmmmm… Guess nobody likes a know-it-all.
Paul Pierce of the NBA does not like this particular comic strip.
Basketballs have stitches?
CB’s argument makes more sense than Flat Earthers’ do.
If the plates were stitched together there would be no continental shift and the US would be over the north pole.
Like an oblate spheroid. Gravity flattens the poles and gives our Earth an unsightly equatorial bulge.
You are Flat Earther, Charlie Brown.
When this strip was drawn, most globes were made of separate paper strips placed together side by side, rather than two plastic halfs placed together at the equator.
Just exhibiting a globe doesn’t prove anything. Now, the Greeks knew the Earth was a sphere from the shadow it cast on the moon during an eclipse.
Because there aren’t any snitches!
