Technically, that may have been true when the real Saint Nicholas was alive. After all, there’s a reason people repent.

Santa never received any presents when he was a child.  So now he’s devoted his life to making children around the world feel happy in an effort to prevent them from feeling as bad as he did.

True.

Santa Claus has no reason to feel guilty. On the other hand, the Burgermeister Meisterburger….

Well he does drive a slegh and play with Elves as the song says!

This strip was after Miracle on 34th street.

In today’s world, some people would think his gifts are evidence that he’s either grooming the children, or he’s conditioning them to expect something for nothing.

Get past Halloween first.

It’s not natural for someone to have an elven workforce or drive a flying sleigh either. Santa’s not your usual, run-of-the-mill person.

It’s a sad state of affairs when people are suspicious of Santa’s gift giving.

It’s always nice to see Shermy.

Santa has a workshop at the North Pole, and all the toys are made by elves. Then, once a year, flying reindeer guide his sleigh (loaded with enough toys for all the world’s children) on a one-night world tour, so he can deliver all those toys . . .

Pretty sure I haven’t gotten to the natural part yet.
