The word LOAN, is a noun. To LEND, is a verb. Perhaps she meant to say, “You don’t have to lend me your clubs”, don’t’ you think?

Why would anyone in their right mind steel golf club? OH… Did I just answer my own question?

A friend of mine owed an old VW Rabbit and whenever he came over to my parents house he’d intentionally park it out in the street even though we had room in the driveway. I tried to warn him that since we lived just over a hill people had a tendancy to come over the crown of the hill at full speed and hit cars parked on the street because the parking lane wasn’t marked, in fact our neighbor had several cars struck by drivers who came over the hill and didn’t expect to find a parked car. My friend’s response was, “Why do you think I’m parking in the street, if someone hits my pile of junk I’ll get a new car.”

You’d think Delray would keep the clubs; after yesterday’s loss, it’s not like he’s going to the Superbowl. Then again, he can concentrate on his wedding plans.
