Lets be honest, must candy today isn’t candy anymore. It is a chemestry set. Even here in Germany, where the restrictions for the use of chemicals in food are much stricter you could play with those things for days and would find new chemicals in them every hour. Its sad really. I even made my own caramel candy for halloween this year, so it isn’t so unhealty.

I’ll never understand why foods proudly tout “No Preservatives!” Preservatives are what keeps food from going bad. I WANT preservatives in my food.

I make the best pralines. If you use a real New Orleans recipe they are only good for 2 weeks, max. Gone in a day, though.
