Actually things change in the comics big time. Check out any comic from the sixties and one now. They have redone most of them to death. Only the names are the same.
I have a T-shirt I love that reads ‘When I was your age Pluto was a planet’ And love the name Dr. Quackenflap. Have met a few M.D.s that deserve that moniker.

I’m trying something different. Every Friday, I’m going to run one of my old Last Kiss comics that originally appeared Comics Buyer’s Guide (CBG.)
Most have never been reprinted. (A few will be in color, but most not.) I hope you like ‘em. If so, I’ll keep running them on Fridays.
And here’s the link to the original art:

Yes. Yes. Yes. First class. Not so far. Rhumbas come closest. No. The Shadow knows

I know one thing that changes in comics. When I was young, comic books cost a dime. Today, $4!

Rhumbas are Cuban dances or the music that goes with them. Did you mean Roombas?

Is Dr. Quackflap related to Dr. Hugo Z. Hackenbush?

Holy shmoley, this reads like a Zippy the Pinhead strip, only without any kitschy roadside landmarks.

Pigs can fly. I just pity the poor TSA agent who has to do the pat-down.

Pluto is the Roman god of the Underworld. The Greeks called him Hades. Scandinavians called her Hel.

Love it already. This one treads its way into Bill Griffith’s territory, but with a unique perspective.
