There’s a genuine, scientific reason for this, and it’s not her fault. She’s a teen; her body clock, for a few years, will be naturally set for her to be a night owl. If she were allowed to slip her whole schedule by two or three hours, she’d be fine. Unfortunately, adults run to a much earlier body rhythm, and it’s the adults in society who drive the actual schedule that she’s expected to live by.
