Friend/boss Norman shows Eddie and his father, Tom, one of the rules of being a bachelor while Mrs. Livingston is away: Eating messy sandwiches over the sink with no plates to wash and easy cleanup!! Works for me!
reminds me of one of my favorite summer-time sandwiches. FRESH off the vine and still sun warmed tomatoes, lots of mayo on fresh, soft bread (and S&P). Definitely an “over the sink” sandwich!
