The all-natural crunchy peanut butter remains more viscous than the smooth; thus you can forego both the plate and the sink, and plop in front of the TV with minimal drippage.

What does he have in that sandwich to have it dripping all over the place anyway?

Having a “Plugger” moment flashback to an episode of “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father”!! Friend/boss Norman shows Eddie and his father, Tom, one of the rules of being a bachelor while Mrs. Livingston is away: Eating messy sandwiches over the sink with no plates to wash and easy cleanup!! Works for me!

reminds me of one of my favorite summer-time sandwiches. FRESH off the vine and still sun warmed tomatoes, lots of mayo on fresh, soft bread (and S&P). Definitely an “over the sink” sandwich!

Big pluggers have clean pants because dropped food never makes it past their shirt.

This is just like the “sink sandwiches” in Rose is Rose where Pasquale and Jimbo eat sloppy sandwiches over the sink.

A good sandwich is one that you can barely fit in your mouth because there’s so much stuff on it. The bread should not be the main thing on a sandwich."

Elaine Boosler described a restaurant “that makes singles feel at home. No tables, just a bunch of sinks lined up around the walls.”
