I’m a child of the early ’50’s as well, and I design computers for a living. But I don’t think anyone would call me mid-century modern.

How about a tech company that has its savvy on backwards. Our new phone allows us to store 3000 numbers when we will need at most about a dozen or so. But it allows us to block only 250 numbers when we likely will need at least 10 times that. Strange priorities.

I’m a child of the 50s also and know more about tech than nearly anyone I know (and that includes youngsters who just expect stuff “to work” without having the faintest idea How or Why is works (or stops working)).

I am also a chid of the 50s and keep up with tech very well. I often have to show my adult son how to use new features. I worked for 30 years for the manufacturing company in Huntsville,AL that made the original IBM PC as well as HP, Dell, Compaq, and yes, even Apple laptops.

Chalk up another child of the fifties, who is into tech. I didn’t start doing it professionally until my forties. Still at it, now that I’m in my mid-60’s, and loving it!
