will Marigold’s parents mistake the caption thinking the unicorn on the card’s name is Lovely?

Wow! “Lovely” looks exactly like “Marigold”!

“I am scenery.” No, you are conceit.

She is so conceited

“Have you turned down the Shield of Boringness on it?” – “Oooops…”

When will the craze for selfies end? Sigh!

Then there are the gag cards, like the inevitable Texas jackalope, or the card showing a naked toddler at the beach with the inevitable caption “I’m a little behind in my correspondence.”

Since she’s trying to get in touch with long-lost parents, a photo of her is probably the best thing she could send.

My husband did a number of free portrait events. At one point, there was a homeless family that emailed pictures of them with their new baby to the grandparents. They hadn’t talked in years, but the photo gave them a way to get back in touch.

Scenery, thy name is unicorn.

Given that most parents want their children to be successful and that “lovely” is success for a unicorn, this may be a perfect card.

Marigold’s last line is definitely something I would say. However, I wouldn’t say it out of vaingloriousness, but for the sake of satirical comedy.
