Reaching. . .reeeaaaaching. . .ummm. . .nope, still nothing. Could be the variable hair color thing is throwing me off. Yesterday brown hair suggested teeth. Today brown hair has the toothed model, a yellow haired guy is in the right corner, then a red haired guy is in chains. The logic in the modern version escapes me, as it often does.

I don’t get it. Not even a long stretch do I get it.

The name implies what you cut with it, not how you use it.

I agree with @Sanderling75 – yesterday orange hair invented the thing & brown hair suggested putting teeth on it. Today brown hair is calling it a handsaw; girl sees it’s use for wood (yesterday orange hair was trying to cut wood with it before it had teeth), so brown hair suggests letting orange hair out of his restraint.

But I guess I can see if orange hair had said it was a handsaw, and brown hair wanted to add teeth, he might’ve misunderstood its use – except he saw what orange hair was doing with it (sawing on wood).

Of course – what is a hand saw with no teeth used for? Music. Do a search for “musical saw” and watch/listen to some of the videos. Does anybody remember which musical audition show featured the judges amazed by the musical saw player?

Ignore all the other stuff and just look and read. Hair color isn’t important and don’t let what happened yesterday affect you brain today. Fixating on unimportant items messes with your heads to understand a simple comic.
