Lovely cartoon! Can almost hear the bird chirping and the guitar strings twanging from Vancover Island……..and the audience hmmming along….

Now that is the only type of tweet that I like. And in cord with Rose too. I do note that.

My father claims he did something like this once. Started whistling short musical phrases when a mockingbird was nearby to teach the bird some new material. The next step was going to be to whistle a counter-melody to what the bird had learned, but apparently mockingbirds have too short an attention span to follow through on a project like that.

Love the idea in today’s strip, but seeing it with the frigid weather in place here gives me the chills!

Obviously not near me, it’s only 8*F / -13*C just before noon where I am right now. I’ll guarantee no one is outside playing a guitar on a fence. Clearing snow from last night, well, guess I’d better get on that soon, because it isn’t going to get much warmer.

BTW, lovely idea, maybe in a few weeks when it warms up.

Keeping that Guitar in Tune in freezing weather is Impossible.

Have we ever seen Vicki play guitar? I think I would like that, personally preferring Rock to Folk (and yes I assume Rose is playing folk, it fits her personality)
