    My toaster is all automatic. Even for bagels. Cuisinart has buttons for degree of toast and for bagels.

    I’m guessing there’s about a thirty percent chance the customer on the other end of the phone is meaning to use this on roadrunners instead of bread.

    I’d love to find a toaster that actually toasts ONE slice of bread evenly. I’ve had expensive ones and cheap ones and have never found the perfect one.

    Yes, there is an adjustment knob on the side. I think we need to send a trainer/technician out to help you with proper setup.

    I once had a “snarky” fellow teacher ask me if I was teaching students in my culinary arts class how to use a toaster. I created a bogus “notes on toaster operation” sheet to scam him.
