It’s 1989 and Calvin’s parents still haven’t bought a VCR.

No she’s not writing them down because she doesn’t have paper. I wonder where her papers went.

What is wanted on said pizza, Calvin? Half pepperoni for you and half tuna for Hobbes?

Um, Calvin, this your last bargaining chip.

I’ve always wondered what the point of this kind of hostage situation is, when if you ever actually do follow through with your threat and destroy the hostages, you no longer have a bargaining chip to keep the opponent from turning you into a smear on the wall. You really can’t win. (unless your objective is just to stall for time, I guess).

On the plus side, Calvin is not playing with fire.

Calvin should bargain for a plane to Cuba. He’s gonna need it.

A fool and his demands are soon spanked!

Calvin, you will learn this lesson in a little while, women always win in the end, they play the long game.

The thing about deals that you’ve failed to learn, Calvin is that they’re made to be broken.

Man I joine the comment section a few days ago and only now do I realize what an AWESOME place this is ;)

The real reason that his parents will get mad is that reliable baby sitters are hard to find and he’s making one of them rethink her client list right now.

According to Forensic Files, the odds are good she will never be seen again when she leaves the house. A fact that will set Calvin’s vocation.

Just promise him all that, but don’t follow through. At least you’ll get him out of the bathroom.

Precociousness in some areas is not wanted.
