I think every doctor knows this; they just act supreme because they have to do some truly hard procedures and need confidence. Some, however, do get carried away!
A Christian dies and comes to Saint Peter’s. When he sees Saint Peter, he starts crying. “Why did I have to die so fast,” he asked, "My child will now grow up without his father. Saint Peter looked at him and said: “God sent you a doctor with a remedy. But, you were not satisfied. You asked for the big boss in person. Well, he waiting for you is behind this door.”
When I have surgery I tell the doctor to have a great day. His/Her day will affect mine. When I pray, I do the same – knowing that a doctor’s ability to do a surgery is a God-given skill.
I’m pretty sure there’s no Heaven (or Hell), but if they did exist, they’d likely be the same place: You are what makes a place good or bad, not the place. These docs may be in Hell…
Long ago and far away, is the legend they were once as Gods to mere mortals; when they came to your home, survived the traffic and didn’t need to demand endless tests to tell you what ails you. Tis a myth that people old as the hills say was once true.

Unfortunately we now live in a time when far too many so-called medical researchers are feverishly playing at God!

How can they be considered Gods when they’re still practicing.

Old joke: What’s the difference between God and a doctor? God doesn’t think he’s a doctor.
